Hello 2018! So I would like to greet ya'll belated Happy New Year. Since I've been feeling depressed lately which is the reason why I haven't posted yet on my blog... and now here I am again. Today has been a long day for me, my partner/co-worker/friend had her vacation leave somewhere else so I'm the only one who is in-charge with the some employees.

OMG, I can't believe that I just fired someone today. Fired seems a harsh word... we'll I just talked to an employee saying this is her last day. This is the first time that I'm doing this, I don't know what to do and say. It seems like I'm not considerate with her who worked with us as a trainee for five months already and knowing about her situation that she's 7 months pregnant. 

I told her that our boss had its final decision to the trainees who are chosen for the new branch and we based it on their performance at work. So  we have a problem with this girl trainee since last year about her absences without informing us in the office and also we're pretty much worried with her baby since it's her first time being pregnant. It's harmful for her to work in a gasoline station especially working with fuels. 

I think it's a good reason to let her go right? Do you think I did the right thing? Though I feel bad for her 'cause she cried in front of me and I don't know how to react or comfort her. :'(
