Yesterday, my cousin and I went to SM City Iloilo to watch a free movie entitled "Very Ordinary Couple" sponsored by the Philippine Korean-Culture Organization for their annual Korean Festival celebration.
They offer free admission movies in the cinemas of SM Malls for Korean Film Festival 2017 within 6 major cities in the Philippines only; which are Manila, Davao, Iloilo, Cebu, Pampanga and Cavite.
The last time I participated or joined in this kind of celebration was 5 years ago. I was so young, naive and of course, a Kpop (Korean pop) fan. Seeing kpop fans right now is like seeing my past self, how addicted I was in Korean pop and culture.
I learned how to speak basic language in Korean, studied Hangul (their system of writing in Korea like vowels & alphabets), and even adopt their culture within myself. I'm not a die hard fan but I really enjoy their culture.
It's been awhile since my cousin and I stroll around in the mall. We've been seeing each other for three consecutive days already which started last week Friday.
And yesterday, we didn't just watch a movie and of course we had our lunch and do window shopping. We ordered 2 'Paa + Rice' (thigh part, it is a grilled chicken called inasal here in Philippines) at Rib Shack.
What's good about this restaurant it's because they serve Filipino style dishes and affordable to lower class to higher class customers. It costs 96 pesos only plus it has unlimited rice promo with it. A great competitor of Mang Inasal Restaurant.
In 96 pesos meal, it doesn't come with a drink.
I don't know which tastes better between Mang Inasal and Rib Shack. They kind of offer the same menus, as they're both Chicken Inasal restaurants. What I like in Rib Shack is because they offer grilled Blue Marlin which is real good.
For we disregarded drinks in our order, we decided to buy coffee in Share Tea instead.
Share Tea is a milk tea saloon franchised from Taiwan. So I bought their classic Share Coffee and my cousin had their Coffe Latte. Their iced coffees costs 85 pesos only. Perfect for those who studies, works, chillin', etc.
